Larry Witmer at Mitchell IN.
Someone who probably won’t be the next Stewart or Carmichael but has as many first-place trophies as Izzi (or, by now, more) is Larry Witmer of Elkhart, Indiana. Witmer divides his time between racing and announcing at Dutch Sport Park as well as at other tracks in the region (such as Red Bud, Log Road, etc.). He can be seen wandering the infield with his riding gear on and portable microphone in hand, and then running for the pits to grab his bike and helmet and yet another holeshot – not bad for a guy as busy as he is, to be cleaning up the Over 40 and 45 classes.
